After spending many years studying biopharmaceutical sciences, Louise Jaunet decided to make her way freely into Montreal’s underground psychedelic rock scene to seek answers to some questions that modern science prefers to leave unanswered.

As a self-taught outsider, she draws inspiration from the Dadaist and Surrealist movements to proudly channel her Franco-German cultural heritage.

Some of her personal reflections on the issues surrounding posthumanism lead her to believe that exploring the mysteries of music could open the door for Artificial Intelligence to access the content of the collective unconscious.

While working for PAN M 360 between 2020 and 2024, she conducted many interviews, notably with Blanck Mass (Sacred Bones), Backxwash (Ugly Hag), Yoo Doo Right (Mothland), Zoongideewin/ᓲᓐᑭᑌᐦᐁ᙮ (Paperbag records), Minami Deutsch/南ドイツ (Guruguru Brain), Trees Speak (Soul Jazz) and N NAO (Mothland).

Her interview with Backxwash was referenced in a Musicology course at UCLA in Spring 2022 (MUSCLG 98T: Sound as gender technique, music and transsubjectivity).
